Poem: Burning in flames by Marcos Muzel
Poem: Burning in flames
Forest burning in flames
Flames! Flames that consume
the soul!
The insane soul, of the insane
man!
Inhuman of all beings, you are
the most insane!
That hurts, hurts, kills,
mistreats!
What an ungrateful soul! The
forest burns!
Call for help! Where will the
help come from?
From the skies? Where's the
rain?
Clouded by smoke, threatens to
fall, but does not fall.
Where will the help come from?
The conscious man?
Where's the conscience? Where
is this man?
Inconsequent, inconvenient,
banal!
Are you in the National
Congress?
In the mundane, selfish,
irrational camp!
Forest on fire! Call for help!
Amazon, life, death, insomnia!
Insane man, wake up and wake
up
Save the forest, or what
remains of it!
Awake from this insane,
senseless and inhuman sleep!
The forest calls, calls! Burns
in flames! ( by Marcos Müzel 21/08/2019 18:38)
